IntelliJ Mac OS X question (but I'm trying it here anyway):
I have hidden the "Tool Window Bars" (View -> Appearance -> Tool Window Bars)
Then, for whatever reason, tapping command twice will briefly show the bar.
I can't find that I've assigned a shortcut for this (and I also don't find any shortcut for this).
Anyone experienced this? Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!

I also get this, if you hold the second tap, the tool window bars remain until you release the command key. I find it quite useful if I want to open a tool window I do not use often and don't remember the keyboard shortcut for.

I'm kinda convinced that it's documented somewhere by jetbrains but I failed to find it so far

I haven't looked 😀 I think I stumbled onto it by accident, but find it useful, so never worried about it.

I don't like it. My "fix" is to just keep the tool window bar constantly open 🤷♂️
