@cfleming was eap4
accidentally released?
i was prompted to upgrade, but now it's gone.
No, it should still be there. I released it but then got dragged away on family stuff before sending the notifications - going out now.
I’m not sure why it wouldn’t appear, it’s definitely deployed: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/8090-cursive/versions/eap
If you go to Settings | Plugins, then select Cursive, doesn’t it prompt you to update?
That’s weird. Both versions should be available on 2023.1. @U086D6TBN, you mentioned it was gone, have you managed to upgrade?
I’m not sure, it shouldn’t do. Maybe it just hadn’t refreshed from the server, and upgrading forced that?
must be something like that. I ran out of space during upgrade so cleaning up but will confirm success when done
yes, i've upgraded already; eap4 has just reappeared on its own. i was already on 2023.2.2 when this disappearing act has happened, so i haven't done any upgrade to make it reappear. i might have restarted intellij, but not sure. it feels like this was just some temporary issue, caused by some network / plugin server outage.
eap4 now showing in settings. must have been the ide update attempt that flushed some cache
I’d like to update to 2023.2 as well. where’s the compat docs for Cursive? I can never find them
That’s because there really aren’t any, which is not the answer I’d like to give. But you can always check the versions available at the plugin repo page, EAP link here: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/8090-cursive/versions/eap
Cursive version numbers are <Cursive version>-<platform version>, so 1.13.1-eap4-2023.2 will work with IntelliJ 2023.2.
