I think that should always be persisted. When does that tend to get lost? Restarting the IDE, or just re-opening a project?

Well, I updated to 2020.2 and all of them disappeared. It seems to happen on other occasions as well though. I can always tell because it starts to think real hard on shadow-cljs cache directory or cljs output files when those dirs are not excluded.
