FYI if you want to have search on your blog, what works for me great is pagefind - it is a CLI tool you can plug into your build to automatically index your .html files. It even comes with built-in UI you can easily add to your blog. It builds & uses a .js library and supporting index files to perform the search on the client side, without any backend.
