Just curious if you’ve looked at all into nvim-cmps windowing solution? If I read their docs right, they implemented their own window, and abstracted it to be a general purpose windowing solution. Looks pretty clean, and I often times have trouble demarkating the current repl solution from the rest of my editor. IANAVD though (I am not a vim dev 😂 )
Not at all, but interesting. I think Neovim's floating windows got more border settings recently... or will do soon? Maybe I can just set some options there. My HUD is very clearly bordered through my theme and I have no trouble spotting the boundary but I realise that some themes were not designed with floating windows in mind yet. Maybe there's some theme modifications people can make / paste in to hack their existing themes to make the boundary clearer too...
