yeah. That'd be great. clojurescript definitely fixes the startup time issue.

shaun-mahood18:01:05

It was really interesting but they ran into a number of issues and problems, and they concluded that it worked but required some pretty serious effort to get it working

shaun-mahood18:01:19

And a lot of the tools they used weren't really ready for primetime when they used them

gerred18:01:54

ah, yeah, an update for the current state of the ecosystem would be nice.

shaun-mahood18:01:30

In my notes from the Conj, one of my questions from their talk was on hosted clojurescript, the other about using it with Datomic. Not sure that helps at all, but those might be easy to cover or comment about when preparing the actual talk.

I wish I had known about this a week ago when I put my proposal together 😛

ghadi22:01:35

Trying to decide between a few proposals: 1) how fun PEG parsers are, writing a virtual machine to execute the parser 2) deep dive on hash map implementation + the new improvements to hashmaps 3) Programmatic Infrastructure with Kubernetes

ghadi22:01:27

Any thoughts?

venantius22:01:54

I’d be really interested in 2 or 3

venantius22:01:00

(personally)

ghadi22:01:20

Thanks! Leaning one way?

jonahbenton22:01:20

hey @ghadi re: 3 are you driving kubernetes from clj?

jaredly22:01:37

can you submit multiple proposals?

shaun-mahood23:01:24

@jaredly: I started with 3 mediocre potential proposals and narrowed it down to 1 good one, and trying to decide on just one really helped me figure out what I wanted to do and what made sense to propose.

shaun-mahood23:01:07

You'd probably have to ask @alexmiller whether multiple proposals is allowed or not though

jaredly23:01:19

@ghadi: I’d vote for #1
