Hello, I received a direct message from a slack account asking me to create and share my UpWork account with them. This breaks the terms of service of the UpWork website and will result in an account being suspended (and seems very dubious anyway). The account name is CoolM and the person claimed to be called Mike and based in Hong Kong.

I did ask if there was any other approach we can take to collaborate on UpWork in case this was a remote chance that this was a genuine offer. Upwork has an agency account were people could work together, so if it was genuine offer then that approach should have been suggested by Mike. I concur this is therefore someone trying to spam me. It certainly was unsolicited.
