ah, I guess @avey_q invited me here to publicly shame for not attending CR17. 😉

I really wanted to. Those who remember CR16 basically changed my life. Next day after the conference I took a leap of faith in Clojure and quit my very well paid job (which was also 10 minutes away from my house).

It did not take long to find a Clojure job. And now after exactly 1 year, I am basically slammed with work 😉

so much that I couldn’t find time for CR17

No worries, i wanted to say hi because i saw you created the channel last year. How are things? @ag

Oh, I guess you’re right. Slack says I have created the channel. I don’t remember though 🙂

@avey_q Things going extremely well. Clojure is amazing, Clojurescript is awesome. I made numerous of ballsy decisions last year and haven’t regretted any single one of them. Except the one that I couldn’t make to CR this year.

Ha, well I'll see if i cant make some smaller more frequent events for folks!
