Kudos on the release of the two podcast episodes, @neumann — I love the focus on programs in the large! PS: I just relistened to your episode of how to do lazy evaluation inside a with-open. It was a great contrast of programs in the large vs small. Can’t wait for the next one!!!

@U6VPZS1EK Thanks for checking them out. I really appreciate your support since we started this almost 5 years ago! Ironically, I just got bitten by with-open again a couple weeks ago! It's definitely a pitfall.

Episode 2 feedback 🧵

ray06:10:35

Thanks for the relaunch and I’m enjoying the new voice that you guys have in this series

ray06:10:58

I’m looking forward to hearing where you go in this series as the first two feel like scene setting - and the scene is looking good!

My only small criticism is that I think we should be encouraging sharing resources in real life (eg I ❤️ libraries) and think books are great example of immutable data sharing 😇

ray07:10:03

As I say, it’s a small meta criticism and I’m very much looking forward to more episodes @neumann

And where is Nate?

@U04V5V0V4 "I think books are great example of immutable data sharing." That's great! I love that!

One intentional creative limitation of the podcast is that it's just talking (no visuals, no video, etc). My hope is to create more resources in other forms. I'm still getting myself setup to do that. I'll be sharing as I make progress on those.

Thanks for starting up again! I miss the horrible puns but also, oddly, don’t miss the horrible puns!

@UE21H2HHD Thanks! We're happy to be back. I make no promise about the future of horrible puns. ;-D
