I'd like to file an issue or submit a tiny fix to https://github.com/clojure/data.avl, but looking at the contributor guidelines I see that I need a Clojure core team member to grant access to the Jira instance so I can do so. Does anybody know how I can go about it?

The bug is that AVLMap implements java.util.Map but doesn't implement isEmpty, so when I try to use the Cider debugger it blows up while trying to print the AVLMap (see https://github.com/clojure-emacs/orchard/blob/329ac7464e324758f3443918fe7598eca47327cf/src/orchard/print.clj#L242 in the cider printing code).

The implementation of isEmpty is trivial, so I don't really care about whether I contribute or not, but I think it would be nice to get it fixed.

My workaround is to just use a :local/root version of data.avl with an isEmpty implementation for AVLMap during development, so it's not an urgent fix.

Hi! You can find more info on beceoming a contributor at https://clojure.org/dev/dev#_becoming_a_contributor • File your issue at https://ask.clojure.org and we will triage it and turn it into a jira • Sign the contributor agreement (see link above) • Request access to jira (also see above)
