Configuring my new laptop and wondering if the third bullet point in https://clojure.org/guides/install_clojure#java should have a hyperlink in there? I read "(see this option...)" and was expecting one.
that is surely missing something
but I'm not even sure what the Custom Setup page is
so maybe that whole clause should not be there
Yeah I was unsure myself so thought I'd raise a flag
thx, I'm just going to remove that clause, may have been copied from something old or elsewhere
was trying not to be too prescriptive here about PATH changes as there are a million ways you might do that
I believe you only need to set JAVA_HOME specifically if there are multiple versions installed via Homebrew Most Java install approaches do not require anything to be set https://practical.li/clojure/clojure-cli/install/java.html#homebrew
Or take a look at the https://adoptium.net/installation/ instructions for the specific OS used
