She says it's painful but each day is slightly better. These days, they get you up and moving within a few hours of surgery and send you home. We have a physical therapist coming to the house 2-3 times a week for a couple of weeks, then she'll have to go somewhere for continued PT.

yeah.... in the olden days they would keep you for ever. now you go home asap.
