Morning! We have the international health certificate for our friend's cat so Jay is taking her to Scotland tomorrow. Well, we drive out to IAD (Washington, DC, about 5 hours!), she flies to AMS, gets a ferry to Newcastle, and train to Dundee! Then she'll get a train to London and the Euro to Paris, pick up a new cat and fly to CLE (Cleveland, about 1 hour away) and the new owner will meet us half an hour south of the airport for the hand-off. This is the trip she was supposed to take at the end of August but the health cert didn't show up in time then!

So when the Ferry docks at North Shields (Newcastle) that will be about 8-9 miles from me and Dundee is @otfrom’s neck of the woods.

She should lands in AMS in about 4.5 hours from now. I'm pretty tired after the 10 hour round-trip drive to the airport -- but at least I got to drive a part of Interstate 70 that I hadn't been on before 🙂
