Bit o'turmoil in the UK!

elken11:10:21

Another one bites the dust

thomas12:10:02

if you U-turn often enough you forget from where you came...

elken12:10:57

U turn if you want to, this government's not for turning

thomas12:10:44

yeah right...

thomas12:10:08

I always thought that Alistair Campbell should cover this.... but that was 15+ years ago.

elken12:10:01

Back in the simple days

mccraigmccraig12:10:25

i do so love me a bit of strong and stable government

elken12:10:23

So do I. Know of one?

paulspencerwilliams12:10:50

I thought ‘strong and stable’ as soon as I heard the chancellor was on a plane home. He should have got the bus home, then Liz couldn’t have thrown him under it…

thomas12:10:01

Putin has been going for 20 years or so...

thomas12:10:00

North Korea is very stable as well in a certain sense. Three generations of the same family.

@U043RSZ25HQ it's a good question. quite hard for me to answer, since i don't really see much of the news-stream of countries other than the UK, plus whatever stories make it globally i lived in norway for a bit a while back, and government there seemed kinda dull then (like in devops, i think dull is a +ve attribute in a government)... but i don't keep up to date perhaps others can comment on where they see their own government on the dull<->batshit spectrum ?

elken12:10:40

Dull is great for government. They should just sit in the background to run the country, and come to the foreground to announce things

governing should be non-event ideally.

elken20:10:28

elken20:10:33

It'll be a boss rush

elken05:10:01

Welp we're getting Boris back

thomas08:10:58

that would be just too weird
