Morning!

Jakob Durstberger08:04:28

Anyone been to the pub yet? 😄

Adrian Smith08:04:33

We can hear our local pub it was crazy on Monday night I think due to a sports event, thankfully it's settled down a bit

The 'spoons up the road has been rammed since Monday. They've turned their carpark into more seating, assuming (correctly) that most people will be willing to walk/tram to them. My wife said when she went to drop our son off at the childminder at 08:00 Monday morning there were already a few folk waiting for them to open...

alexlynham10:04:29

you know... it may also be that i'm no longer quite the age where i wanna stay up on a school night til 2am drinking but one of the better things about the last year has been being essentially forced into being teetotal i have a tumbler of whisky on special occasions now, but the beer in the evening after work or whatever is a thing of the past... and i don't miss it. do miss the social aspect tho i guess

Eamonn Sullivan11:04:13

I give up drinking for lent (six-week period before Easter) every year, and every year I learn that I kind of like restful sleep. Then I forget again...

alexlynham10:04:46

maybe i've become the lad in the group that comes to the pub and orders a coke now, ha

Jakob Durstberger11:04:55

> maybe i’ve become the lad in the group that comes to the pub and orders a coke now, ha Hey that’s me 😄 For the last 2 years I only drank at my brother’s wedding and new years. Everyone of my colleagues and friends are super cool about it so that’s nice

morning btw

Still waiting in Northern Ireland 😕

jasonbell08:04:20

Looks like we’ll be waiting a long while at that. Doesn’t seem to be about the data anymore,

jasonbell08:04:13

And NI’s dates also seem to link with the Republic’s vaccination programme, so if they stall NI’s reopening to stall with it.
