Morning
2021 inches ever closer...
I never went decimal 🙂
What's the view in 'murica? Is it being reported postivitely or negatively in the US of A?
Which "it" are you referring to? The upcoming new year? Still looks like we're going to see a massive spike in cases from idiots gathering for Christmas and for New Year (most of California is under a stay-at-home order until some time in January, which will almost certainly be extended into February at this point).
To be honest, most 'muricans have no idea what Brexit is about 😐
Of those who do, you can probably guess that the MAGA crowd think Brexit is great and the "educated coastal elites" think Brexit is terrible 🙂
(right now there's so much political polarization here that folks in some states are actually talking about secession from the union -- it's the confederacy all over again 😞 )
I saw a bunch of social media stuff about how the new Brexit deal bill has stuff about Netscape Communicator being "modern email software" and SHA-1 being appropriate encryption :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:
It's not very inspiring for the future, if they are referencing best-practices using obsolete software and more worryingly encryption/hashing practices.
I guess we shouldn't have expected much different from HMG...
