Good Morning!

dharrigan05:06:50

Howdy! Just waiting for the young'un to stir!

dharrigan05:06:06

I see some nice changes in next.jdbc!

seancorfield05:06:49

Default options. Yeah, a long time coming.

dharrigan05:06:59

Handy indeed!

seancorfield05:06:24

I have branches for nested transaction control and for multiple result set experiments.

seancorfield05:06:50

Looking at direct support for stored procedure calls as well (but that's early days).

dharrigan05:06:03

How do you find the time! πŸ™‚

dharrigan05:06:30

Or, are you one of these mythical 10x Programmers?

dharrigan05:06:41

Rock Star etc...

seancorfield05:06:59

I spent five hours at work today dealing with something unpleasant, so cutting 1.0.475 was my "reward" -- I'd been designing it in my head on and off over the weekend.

dharrigan05:06:38

That's good quality "hammock" time πŸ™‚

seancorfield05:06:52

BTW, we finished season 7 of TNG and we're ten eps into DS9 now πŸ™‚

dharrigan05:06:30

You're churning through those. I recently rewatched Avatar: The Last Airbender

dharrigan05:06:45

Oh, the young one is awake

seancorfield06:06:13

@dharrigan 1.0.476 is out now πŸ™‚

dharrigan06:06:12

btw, if you do need someone to test out anything PostgreSQL, happy to lend a hand if you need it πŸ™‚

seancorfield06:06:03

Do you use Stored Procs?

dharrigan06:06:19

I do, but sparingly atm.

dharrigan06:06:32

mostly to calculate things overnight πŸ™‚

seancorfield06:06:53

I really need some help with PG stored procs -- https://github.com/seancorfield/next-jdbc/blob/multi-rs/test/next/jdbc/test_fixtures.clj#L153-L170 -- I need to return multiple result sets from that, if possible (works on HSQLDB, MySQL, MS SQL Server)

seancorfield06:06:10

I just can't figure out the PG-specific syntax 😞

seancorfield06:06:33

(that's on the multi-rs branch BTW for anyone who wants to play along at home πŸ™‚ )

dharrigan06:06:43

I'll see if i can get a bit of time today to have a looksee πŸ™‚

seancorfield06:06:04

Based on the PG docs, I'm not even sure if PG supports multiple result sets 😞

Welcome to the strange UK channel πŸ™‚
