I just noticed that my XPS charges alot faster through USB-C than it does through the dedicated coaxial charger socket which seems strange and a bit unsettling

I guess I only have to worry if it gets skin-strippingly hot

although it may be too late by then

I think the charger it comes with is only 40W

Anyway, usb-c can go to 100W I think.

My 13 only had a 40W.

The laptop negotiates the power it accepts.

But there are dangerous plugs out there
