fwiw a vote for the greens > spoiled ballot as it’s counted as a vote against the climate crisis however only seats they’re targeting seriously are brighton, bristol

also tbh a lot of labour’s green policies are pinched from the greens and obv the tories have no credibility on the environment and obv the lib dems will change their stance to whatever coalition partner they try and get in with

I think everybody is tbh. without some kind of PR/AV system most votes are wasted

the greens have PR as a policy platform. I feel like the SNP have talked about STV or something

so I wouldn’t expect to see it coming up again unless a party specifically has it as a policy platform

and even if a party had that, MPs won’t vote for it in all likelihood

as many would end up losing their jobs

especially tories

b/c of the uneven spread of consituencies

I used to live in the manchester central constituency which is hilariously geographically and demographically large compared to some places in the country that have fifteen people and a sheepdog

Well look-y here - a Clojure UK Slack channel. How did I miss that for so long?? Great to have a more local place to discuss scrolls back ... politics!

Anyone attending the London Clojure meetup? From the meetup page it looks like it's focussed only on learning. Was wondering if there are also more typical kind of meets with presentations and such.

There was re:Clojure last week

but you’ll probably have to wait 1 year until the next 🙂

There used to be Clojure presentations at skills matters almost every month, besides regular Dojos. That was few years ago, not sure when and why it stopped. I’m guessing not enough volunteers to give a talk?

There’s been a few meetups at funding circle and uswitch offices (maybe more sorry if I missed yours out). Would expect there to be more at funding circle at least.
