Ah, excellent TV series if that is what you're referring to

I'm up to episode 6 (tonight's activity!)

dharrigan08:09:30

The movie is good too πŸ™‚

I watched it last week. Really enjoyed it. Not sure why it's on the kids section in Netflix though. Definitely don't think most kids under 10 should be watching as there are some very mature themes in it

yogidevbear09:09:14

Feels like it should probably have a 12 rating

Ben Hammond10:09:30

is it a reimaging of the 1982 film?

Ben Hammond10:09:33

is it a prequel?

Ben Hammond10:09:54

it was pitched as a kids film in 1982

Jim Henman innit

yogidevbear11:09:08

From my understanding, it's the prequel

dharrigan11:09:14

it's a prequel

dharrigan11:09:20

and yes, not for children

dharrigan11:09:36

I think it is aimed for those who watched dark crystal as a kid, i.e., +30's

but then again, some scenes in the dark crystal movie are a bit horrific too!

yogidevbear11:09:58

I have enough trouble with my son being afraid of going upstairs alone thanks to the puppet in the recent Goosebump movies. There's no way I'll cope if he watches Dark Crystal

dominicm11:09:39

I'm scared to go downstairs in my house after seeing home alone. I'm always home alone!

dominicm11:09:50

Does anyone else get sent down in the night to check for burglars? And despite saying you didn't hear anything, or that it was outside, you're still a bit anxious going downstairs?

I'm a light sleeper, my wife could sleep until the cows come home (and after the milking!)

dharrigan11:09:43

so I don't send myself down πŸ™‚
