I'll probably say again, but the easy interop with java (and the plethora of libraries) makes clojure even more fantastic!
being able to simply import a jar, then using interop to call methods on objects in clojure is grrrrrreat

I see he already took down the blog post he made on September 3rd about "revisiting LambdaConf" -- but I missed the SkillsMatter interaction? Did they invite him to speak and then uninvite him?
