I'll probably say again, but the easy interop with java (and the plethora of libraries) makes clojure even more fantastic!

being able to simply import a jar, then using interop to call methods on objects in clojure is grrrrrreat

The very reason I’m doing my ClojureX talk on it.

That and I thought everyone was bored with my love of Kafka.

@dharrigan although doing side-effecting exponential backoff (or anything apart from immediate) retry with kafka-streams is 😿

I'm glad skillsmatter made the right choice in the end about John de Goes. I'd hate to have to stop going to clojurex

I see he already took down the blog post he made on September 3rd about "revisiting LambdaConf" -- but I missed the SkillsMatter interaction? Did they invite him to speak and then uninvite him?
