Morning 🙂
Anyone else started watching Good Omens on prime?
tbh, I don't know much of the work of Terry and Neil (yes, I'm aware of their books etc., just not read much)
For me, it's just a show to watch when the mood takes, I'm not binge watching, like with GoT 🙂
interesting read if anybody is into these kind of things https://blog.apollographql.com/apollo-federation-f260cf525d21
on one hand, it's probably very convenient for people who have functionality and microservices spread across multiple teams
on the other, I hate how invisible this makes performance costs of this query over that query
yeah, maybe silly idea but i suppose you don't have to create one big federated view of the world. you could build multiple and then performance could be one of the inputs when deciding what to build, how fine grained etc
Sorry, I know it’s horribly off-topic, but it just came across my radar and I had__ to share…
morning
nasa is american, an apparently-famous american is visiting the uk this week (and it looks like this famous american has landed in the uk a little while ago), bingo, on-topic.
@yogidevbear Wife and I watched first episode on Saturday. We both thought it was great, but not sure when we will get to next episode. Busy times.
@yogidevbear Watched Good Omens first episode at the weekend, it was brilliant. I do love Terry Pratchett and have read all the discworld series, fantastic books.
I found the Noah's ark scene rather funny (think it's either ep 2 or 3)
David Tennant is well cast
no Good Omens spoilers please, wont be able to watch the next one until after I have made the talk for tomorrow...
Is it me, or does the front picture of the BBC News showing Donald Trump and the Queen, look like they're doing a fist-bump?
@jonpither - Just booked my place about 30 mins ago; looking forward to it already… 🙂
