Morning
"Swarm and pair" you say @otfrom. What's swarming? π
https://www.agilealliance.org/resources/experience-reports/mob-programming-agile2014/
Cool, pretty much what I thought it was, but worth validating π
How often do you utilise swarming?
we go in streaks. Sometimes we'll do it for weeks. Sometimes we'll break into pairs or work singly.
I never got a lot out of mob programming myself, perhaps it varies depending on the problem
Alas, it is
Good morrow
I now know which of my neighbours has chickens too π
My current suspicion is just chickens π€
@U0K1RLM99 Although I can't confirm it is morning and I can confirm it is good.
I should have guessed it was those neighbours though as they do seem like young hippies (some with dreadlocks). It seems rather obvious in retrospect π
That said, I probably look a little like a hippie at the moment
You never know @U0MFQNXFZ they may not like you that much and just have a sound effects record on loop π
That is sheer genius!
@U0K1RLM99 I can't stop chuckling π IMHO, today, you have won the internet π
but why the noise of chickens to annoy someone... a loud barking dog would be better I assume...
TBF, I'm not saying it's annoying me π Just that I know now who has them
I think if they did have a cockerel, things might be different π
we used to have a neighbour who had a cockerel, but it certainly wasn't limited to (early) mornings!
@U0MFQNXFZ your neighbours winning the internets? https://www.reddit.com/r/aww/comments/adez03/chicken_completes_tiny_agility_course_wait_for/
Yeah, we mob program occasionally. Normally it's pairing, but if there's some bigger issue that is causing a lot of confusion and issues it can be good to get everyone on it. It's not a good way to work on a regular basis, but it does work occasionally for "OK, we need everyone to weigh in on this, and not just for a quick question" sort of scenario
