"Swarm and pair" you say @otfrom. What's swarming? πŸ™‚

yogidevbear09:01:13

Cool, pretty much what I thought it was, but worth validating πŸ™‚

yogidevbear09:01:50

How often do you utilise swarming?

otfrom10:01:48

we go in streaks. Sometimes we'll do it for weeks. Sometimes we'll break into pairs or work singly.

Conor14:01:12

I never got a lot out of mob programming myself, perhaps it varies depending on the problem

Actually if someone could confirm it’s morning that would be helpful.

yogidevbear09:01:01

I now know which of my neighbours has chickens too πŸ”

danm09:01:46

A cockerel as well, or just the chickens?

yogidevbear09:01:11

My current suspicion is just chickens 🀞

thomas09:01:59

@U0K1RLM99 Although I can't confirm it is morning and I can confirm it is good.

jasonbell09:01:20

Thank you friends.

yogidevbear09:01:33

I should have guessed it was those neighbours though as they do seem like young hippies (some with dreadlocks). It seems rather obvious in retrospect πŸ™‚

yogidevbear09:01:19

That said, I probably look a little like a hippie at the moment

jasonbell09:01:29

You never know @U0MFQNXFZ they may not like you that much and just have a sound effects record on loop πŸ˜‰

yogidevbear09:01:26

That is sheer genius!

thomas09:01:28

Hippies... says 'nough.

yogidevbear09:01:35

@U0K1RLM99 I can't stop chuckling πŸ˜‚ IMHO, today, you have won the internet πŸ‘

thomas09:01:42

but why the noise of chickens to annoy someone... a loud barking dog would be better I assume...

yogidevbear09:01:25

TBF, I'm not saying it's annoying me πŸ™‚ Just that I know now who has them

yogidevbear09:01:00

I think if they did have a cockerel, things might be different πŸ˜‰

thomas10:01:39

we used to have a neighbour who had a cockerel, but it certainly wasn't limited to (early) mornings!

danm09:01:50

Yeah, we mob program occasionally. Normally it's pairing, but if there's some bigger issue that is causing a lot of confusion and issues it can be good to get everyone on it. It's not a good way to work on a regular basis, but it does work occasionally for "OK, we need everyone to weigh in on this, and not just for a quick question" sort of scenario
