Morning!

jasonbell09:11:28

What I love reading over the weekend is the opinions of others on the internet 🙂

3Jane09:11:33

are you getting flooded with hacker news followup @jasonbell?

jasonbell09:11:16

While I think this was a cool article this kind of seems like terrible advice.

jasonbell09:11:35

I’m not going to respond. Durable Queue is fine for my needs right now.

jasonbell09:11:56

When/IF things grow then Kafka. Blimey, no pleasing some people.

jasonbell09:11:06

At least I can milk it a bit on Monday.

thomas09:11:38

at least I know someone now who is (internet) famous!

thomas09:11:58

maybe you can use this to get on to Strictly Jase!

jasonbell09:11:15

I use a walking stick @thomas

thomas09:11:08

If Heather Mills can dance, you can as well! Just believe!

jasonbell09:11:54

Wow, I’ve got real tears streaming down my face.

thomas09:11:21

but... do you use a durable queue for that stream.. or do you do need Kafka for it?

jasonbell09:11:41

@thomas has someone spiked your coffee?

3Jane09:11:54

Eh, people will criticise anything that’s not the Top Luxury Option to up their status. Meanwhile, the rest of the world has working systems at the price they can afford 🙂
