This guy is SPJ, he’s a legend, one of the UKs top CS academics, and one of the main people behind Haskell, and I can’t recommend his talks enough. Thanks for sharing this talk though, I’ve not seen it before

I almost got to meet him at BETT where he was giving a keynote a few years ago… had my haskell t-shirt on and everything 😀, but sadly it never happened

I've been thinking, with all these changes with clj, an a la carte build system would be very nice. It mirrors some ideas I've seen Clojure/core discussing. Then this paper shows up, quite a gift 🎁
