@dominicm that's early - different time zone, insomnia or children?

dominicm08:07:23

@alex.lynham My dog has tablets in the morning, so I'm up for that anyway. It's beneficial anyway, if I break my work sleep schedule it makes me tired on Mondays.

alexlynham08:07:23

Should have guessed it could be a dog

alexlynham08:07:57

My collie lived until like... 16? Maybe, and he required all sorts after the age of ten or so

alexlynham08:07:17

How big is your commute that you're up at 6am?

alexlynham08:07:42

I thought you were remote

dominicm09:07:56

@alex.lynham He's nearly 4, but he's been on medication since 2ish. He suffers from epilpsy, and also syringomyella. I leave the house around 7:30 and get to work at 9. I get up a little earlier for the dog's tablets (they have to be spaced exactly 8 hours apart). I can awaken up to 30 minutes before my alarm. But 6:30 is the latest I'll wake up. Not remote, although I work from home once a week.

you know, the more I think about it, the more re-frame is probably clojure’s killer app

alexlynham15:07:30

the fact you can use it with react native etc

alexlynham15:07:07

seems like I see more and more projects using it, and clj is relatively natural if you want to work with concepts in the decentralised web space (which is increasingly mobile-oriented) too
