danm10:10:55

Cycling in this morning was... cold

yogidevbear10:10:03

Anyone else lose many hours of their weekend to Stranger Things 2?

danm10:10:09

First day of the season where the temp hit 0

danm10:10:30

Not yet. On my list, along with the cinema to see Thor Ragnarok

yogidevbear10:10:45

Finished all 9 episodes

yogidevbear10:10:49

Really enjoyed it

sundarj10:10:03

i watched a bunch of the first one last night

maleghast10:10:09

Hello @yogidevbear - Sadly no, re Stranger Things 2, my satellite internet does not allow for streaming; not enough data / month…

danm10:10:25

Satellite internet? o.0 Where are you, the Shetlands?

maleghast10:10:39

Similarly, like @carr0t, Ragnarok has not happened yet… I may get to the cinema this week however…

maleghast10:10:58

@carr0t - Some way off the Shetlands, actually, but we may as well be wrt internet connectivity 🙂 Inversnaid at the top of Strathard in The Trossachs, about a mile to the east of the eastern shore of Loch Lomond, about half way up the eastern side…

maleghast10:10:44

The view and the peace and quiet MORE than makes up for it, and then when you add in the hills and the walks and the lochs, honestly it’s totally worth the limited connectivity 🙂

Morning

danm10:10:58

I like being close to the Peak District and relatively close to the Lakes, but still close enough to civilisation to get VDSL

seancorfield11:10:23

@yogidevbear yup we did all nine episodes yesterday. Looking forward to season three!

yogidevbear11:10:26

@seancorfield What time is it in SF? You're up very late for a "school night" 😉

seancorfield11:10:55

4:30am. Just happen to be up in the middle of the night.

seancorfield11:10:07

And of course I check clojure-uk first simple_smile

yogidevbear11:10:34

Lol nice 👍

danm11:10:33

UK ex-pat?

yogidevbear11:10:02

Yup, one of the nicest

seancorfield15:10:10

Aw, you'll make me blush... 😆

danielneal16:10:44

I think this is one of the selling points of datomic that they could make a lot more of - no update in place means no developer accidents that you can only resolve by digging out a backup

yogidevbear16:10:04

It's almost is if Thomas did it on purpose to make a case for getting Datomic in the workplace  😜

mattford20:10:00

anyone got any experience with mach and it's use of constants?

mattford20:10:02

I don't seem to able to refer to them in the machfile....

mattford20:10:35

ah finally got it
