@yogidevbear where is your talk happening
At a ColdFusion conference in Munich. (Feels a little better that it's not to a knowledgeable Clojure audience š)
how big is big?
only about 15k lines
@mccraigmccraig how is your eye doing? recovered?
hey @thomas yes thanks - retina still properly attached and i can see just fine šļø
@mccraigmccraig Glad to hear that you (and your eye) are doing well!
I feel inclined to ask randomly after people's limbs. @maleghast how's your forearm?
just wanna confirm that my left index finger is fine
Are these arm / hand welfare checked related to Emacs?
Anyone having issues with their frenulum?
I am off to do the school run and meet with one of my daughterās teachersā¦ I will see you all laterā¦
Have fun
break a frenulum
be careful @dominicm lest i post a pic of what my eye looked like last year š¬
no pls
I am assuming that you have all seen this: https://youtu.be/LEZv-kQUSi4
I say @mccraigmccraig - glad to hear that your eye is better FWIW
@maleghast the date on that is weirdā¦ it's an older talk afaik.
https://vimeo.com/77199361 ah, migration from vimeo
no pics then @dominicm , but you could always google "vitrectomy" š
a thing both terrifying and amazing
Vitrectomy, eh? Fascinating, but Iām with @dominicm, particularly knowing what that is I donāt need to see itā¦ š
Changing the subject for a momentā¦ Is there an emerging standard for GraphQL in Clojure..?
Lacinia is very popular right now. However, I personally don't entirely trust walmart for long-term support of a library. Alumbra is very interesting to me, by the author of rewrite-clj. We have used graphql-clj in the past too, but uh, it doesn't use spec so it isn't cool, or something like thatā¦ no good technical reasoning.
I think graphql-clj used to be a little behind the graphql spec & lacinia had something it didn't have yet, or something like that. But I also think that gap has closed nowā¦
I am going to check all three out, but if Lacinia is fully open source then the second Walmart fail to keep on top of things itās a quick trip to Fork City!
lacinia is fully open source as far as i can tell. as for walmart labs' record, https://github.com/hapijs/hapi was originally a walmart labs project until Eran Hammer left
