Excel runs half the financial systems of the world
Discovered that one of our clients used Excel to do all their marking/business intelligence
i see lots of people in software dev try to get their business people to stop using excel
personally i’ve seen better success in adding monitoring, testing, versioning etc to excel
we built a data pipeline at work, dumped everything in Redshift and gave the BI team Tableau - they still insisted on doing a select * on the table and pasting it into Excel
random question: but has anyone ever seen an API that lets me provide a route, and have it give me the directions (turns / road names) for that route?
isn't there an osm api for that? iirc i used to have a free satnav app which was osm based and did that
