Swapped time zone already?
@keithmantell we are all on UGT here http://www.total-knowledge.com/~ilya/mips/ugt.html
morning folks
Yer, Thomas just popped round to teach me this important concept! Still doesn’t explain his tardy attendance!!
@keithmantell oh I never said he was timely 😉
@thomas oh no. Hope you're feeling better today?
yes… just this horrible cold going round. didn’t want to infect the people around me in the last few days I was here.
@agile_geek He is rarely accused of that! @thomas OK, you have my grudging sympathy then
that is a first @keithmantell
@thomas when are you moving/starting new job?
@thomas make sure you are well by next Friday!
our house here is on the market and all I really hope for is that David Davis shuts up on the day I am going to transfer my € to £.
@thomas please try not to be so obviously happy about leaving us!
@keithmantell you would be happy as well if you left you.
agile_geek I think the tricky bit w/spec is figuring out what properties should hold true for your function that are actually useful
otfrom: agreed. I'm thinking REPL driven investigation then codified into spec/generated tests if obvious with an optional example-based test if required. I still feel generative testing can't test everything[1] so I would still have some specific example-based tests. [1] even where it can sometimes the 'cost' of developing complex generators is not worth effort
