Did you ever see that Knuth interview where he talks about TeX?

I lost most of the respect I had for him at that point

he talks about how he thought so much about it, and how even though it has no tests, it’s still fine

and it doesn’t need to change anymore

are you using plain tex/latex or Xetex / luatex. Xetex/Xelatex/luatex seem to handle UTF8 better

We've been doing docs in asciidoc, I'm quite liking it as a rather more powerful alternative to markdown.

Leanpub do their books in markdown from memory.

gitbook is supposed to be pretty good
