@paulspencerwilliams: glad you enjoyed it. Nice to meet at last.

agile_geek09:07:19

I'm tired from all travel yesterday. Not sure I'm going to stay awake in ProCloDo tonight 😉

thomas09:07:30

no worrier @agile_geek we won’t wake you up in case you fall a sleep 😉

thomas11:07:33

Re ProCloDo… is there a repo I can download already?

otfrom11:07:27

thomas: I'm guessing it is this one https://github.com/ldnclj/meetdown

thomas12:07:48

cool thank you

thomas15:07:41

On my way to the big smoke....

thomas15:07:16

Hopefully I will arrive in some sort of decent state... very warm.

otfrom15:07:17

thomas: proclodo is cancelled

otfrom15:07:26

agile_geek: isn't feeling well

agile_geek15:07:37

@thomas: I'm sorry I'm not very well so I can't run ProCloDo tonight

otfrom15:07:47

tho I'm sure you can still hangout at skillsmatter and hack on things. 😄

thomas15:07:38

😕 😕 😕

thomas15:07:19

I guess I'll have to find some thing else to do... just got on the train.

otfrom15:07:16

I'm sure there will be interesting meetups as skillsmatter

thomas15:07:36

There is a docket one as well I think

thomas15:07:48

Might go to that one instead.

otfrom15:07:49

thomas: omg. They'll turn you into a hipster.

thomas15:07:09

I'm to old for that...

thomas15:07:42

And I already use docker on a daily basis... so no hope for me anyway

agile_geek15:07:10

@thomas sorry I didn't get message out in time I thought I could soldier thru but I only started to feel really bad a few mins before I announced cancellation.

otfrom15:07:47

thomas: ah, you are already a hipster. I knew it.

Fun times here - the airconditioner system has somehow pushed the humidity to the point where the ceiling is dripping… There’s a guy mopping the ceiling.

bigkahuna16:07:28

It's all the sweat from the hard coding you're doing evaporating from your head and condensing at the ceiling. 😛

otfrom16:07:32

:rain_cloud:

otfrom16:07:45

bigkahuna: ugh... that sounds... minging

bigkahuna16:07:04

At my company we're been forced to close the blinds to all the windows so at least the A/C has a change of keeping us cool. From the outside of the building looks like we all working in Skunk works 😄.

seancorfield16:07:06

(could be worse: one of my colleagues works from home in Phoenix, AZ where the night time lows this week will be 33ºC…)

otfrom16:07:57

seancorfield: but I bet it is dry and they have air con

otfrom16:07:08

no air con at home

seancorfield16:07:32

Yeah, the common mantra in Phoenix when you complain about the heat is "But, it’s a dry heat!"...

seancorfield16:07:55

Florida and Maryland are the two worst places I’ve visited in the Summer for "hot & humid".

seancorfield17:07:51

My mum said thunderstorms are predicted for the weekend in her area (West Sussex).

glenjamin17:07:08

They were originally due today, but we’re keeping the heatwave apparently

bigkahuna17:07:32

That’s the irony, it’ll be hot during the working week and raining at the weekend (doh)

otfrom17:07:20

:shakes_fist:

korny20:07:39

@bigkahuna: we had a big discussion about how evaporation would leach all the bad bits out of the developer sweat 🙂

korny20:07:16

I prefer dry heat - Melbourne gets into the 40s sometimes, but it’s usually windy and dry, so more bearable. Here it’s been still and muggy - yeuch
