What commercial "learn clojure" courses/resources are there available? And would anyone recommend any? I know of https://purelyfunctional.tv/courses/ Interested for some junior devs on our team etc

rickmoynihan11:06:27

specifically interested in any structured approaches with screencasts... I know about clojure koans etc

@rickmoynihan: we do class-based training if that would help: https://juxt.pro/training.html - I still think http://4clojure.com is a great resource

malcolmsparks11:06:12

At home we're working through http://4clojure.com with our 10 yr old (we home ed)

malcolmsparks: yes, I was meaning to look at Juxt too... and +1 for reminding me about http://4clojure.com 🙂

malcolmsparks12:06:30

@rickmoynihan I give the training for juxt, ping me anytime if you want to discuss

rickmoynihan12:06:36

malcolmsparks: was going to anyway 🙂 but will need to chat to folk here first about options though

anyone done anything with clj-time and local time?

thomas21:06:13

I have a UTC time which I try to get to BST… (l/to-local-date-time date-time) goes one hour in the wrong direction 😞

thomas21:06:44

I guess I need to tell clj-time what the current timezone is when it parses it… but how?

hmm more tomorrow…. good night for now!
