@peterb: You would be surprised. I’ve just found out about a company occasionally using Clojure in Newcastle Upon Tyne which I knew nothing about although I’ve been shouting about it there for years.
@peterb: @agile_geek geek I know of exactly 2 people doing Clojure/Clojurescript where I am, well possible 3 as I tried converting while at a “Sky Agile Masterclass” event but i’ve not checked in how they’re getting on.
@gjnoonan: morning. On this subject, our community is vibrant and fairly good at connecting with ppl but I’m wondering if there’s yet more we can do to involve others?
@agile_geek: Yeah I think theres a lot more we can do, we need to become ambassadors and salesmen for; the language, and the community. People by nature need an incentive. I’m hoping things we can do in #C0CB40N8K will highlight this. I’ll be the first to admit I am not 100% sure of everything we can do yet though.
@peterb: I’m in Leicester and the company I work for is entirely Clojure/ClojureScript.
