Hello, I'm Aldo from Datomic team. I want to give a https://blog.datomic.com/2024/09/Amazing-Day-of-Datomic.html workshop in Barcelona, it will be similar as the one that will given in Clojure Conj in a few weeks. To make it a reality I want to know if there is people interested in participating, if that happens to be true we are more than happy to facilitate it. There are still more details to be worked out depending, high level is this • The length it's about ~6hrs, lunch break will be considered and very likely to happen on a Saturday morning to maximize the availability of everyone. • No Datomic experience is required, basic Clojure is enough. • The workshop is full of cool things to learn and we've updated the content to the most recent developments behind Datomic. • All is needed it's a computer with Java and Clojure installed. • The workshop it's a mix between explanation, questions, labs and repeat. The intention is to use Datomic features and experiment with them. • Dates are not defined yet, probably mid November. • The language will depend on the majority of the group, Spanish or English. Let me know if there is interest.

Very interesting! I have used Datomic professionally in the past so probably I'm not in the target audience, although for good reasons. Would be happy if it happened. You can also scout in the bcneng slack for possible attendees. Finally, if you post it as a would-be event in the Clojure Developers Barcelona meetup, it might achieve extra reach. As an admin I can facilitate anything that may be needed over there.

Awesome thanks for the support @vemv, I'll take a look to bcneng slack. About Clojure Developers Barcelona, that's a great idea, once we decided to do it we can pos it there and regardless of your experience with Datomic you are very welcome, you might learn a new thing or two.
