What is that strange ball of light in the sky? I haven't seen that for a while... 🙂

We've had cloudy skies and snow flurries for about a week -- with 4-5 inches of snow on Saturday. I think I've run the snowblower over the drive three times in the last week. And we're not even in the "lake effect" zone here. But it's beautiful this morning: blue skies, sunshine, in the 20's!

lake effect was crazy this weekend. we were up near the bridge in MI and got like 6-8" overnight and had to drive home through it 😬

Yeah, my wife had gone to Florida for a cat show and arrived back at PIT around midnight. We decided it was probably safer for her to stay with a friend near the airport -- but it was still a half hour drive on snowy back roads to get to the friend's house. She said the drive back home Sunday morning wasn't bad... until she got to the side streets near the house!

If you don't have an all wheel drive vehicle, and you got room in the garage for a stack of extra tires/wheels, snow tires are pretty awesome for northeast Ohio winters.

(AWD helps get you through the unplowed residential streets, but it's still pretty easy to slide off a highway without snow tires)
