oh yeah I definitely missed this, lemme find it on meetup so I get a note on my calendar

I don't know what's wrong but somehow I never get e-mail notifications from meetup anymore, and they also don't end up in spam

Maybe can you check if you got the message @hobosarefriends?

the last e-mail I received is from 2022 :-s

the meetup help page suggested turning it off and on again, I tried that now

maybe you can try to send me a message through meetup (if that is a thing)

resetting my e-mail back and forth does work so apparently they can e-mail me

so, when I tried to send a message to all meetup members I only got email as a possibility

now that I'm in front of my pc I see the messaging UI which might translate into something different

I sent a message to the Organizers and indeed I received it

but again this is using http://meetup.com web UI instead of the phone email client

if you need any talks, I could try to do a preliminary version of my upcoming Conj talk... Unsure if I have the time to make one but it will give me some motivation to at least make a start..
