mhhh I should up my meetup slack foo, I keep failing to timely update stuff and respond to doubts

skuro13:05:56

anyway, today we do have one talk on the agenda

skuro13:05:31

so @borkdude there will be likely room for you to showcase babashka pods

borkdude13:05:00

cool, a talk! πŸ™‚

borkdude13:05:06

what's the topic?

skuro13:05:25

from FundingCircle

skuro13:05:22

I haven't warned the speaker to get prepared for @gklijs questions so that will be fun πŸ˜›

borkdude13:05:43

nice. note that I don't have to show my thing, it's just that if the agenda was empty, we would have a backup plan πŸ˜‰

gklijs13:05:52

Could be fun indeed πŸ˜›

skuro13:05:11

@borkdude that might still be good in case no one else steps up after the only one talk I managed to grab over the interwebs πŸ™‚

Mno16:05:21

Good thing you guys talked about the meetup

Mno16:05:30

I had forgotten today was wednesday

tvaughan17:05:04

Unfortunately I don't think my internet connection will allow me to join today 😞

xsyn17:05:22

There’s a slack!

Kevin18:05:21

Welcome! πŸ™‚

xsyn21:05:32

Thank you

gklijs18:05:21

Was a bit late since I really wanted to go out for a run, and some work things came up just before. The pod thing is still thinking of all the ways to use it. Like what if you had a pod that could connect to remote pods, and pass the function to any of those pods running the required pod. Starting a new pod if needed 🀯. But sounds maybe to much like kubernetes..

borkdude19:05:27

pods are free to start other pods, as long as it doesn't sound like kubernetes
