Second day back at work. It was so much more fun not thinking about Java code.

borkdude09:03:02

how was skiing?

gklijs10:03:46

Didn't ski myself bit did read a lot in the sun, also a bit non-technical, Guns, Germs, And Steel, which was very interesting. It was a bit to hot to ski for the others, and one of the kids got a bit scared.

Lennart Buit14:03:58

haha, that was fast @borkdude, finding the dutch person

borkdude14:03:18

woah, where do all these new people come from

borkdude14:03:52

welcome @stefan.van.den.oord and @joep.kemperman. The Dutch Clojure community just grew with 12%.

Stefan14:03:09

Thanks 🙂 Coming from Nijmegen area if that’s what you’re asking 🙂

Lennart Buit14:03:47

thats factually incorrect, it was 111 members before, and now 113, thats an increase of 1.8%

Stefan14:03:06

I’m interested in clojure for a while (and FP in general). We’re now doing a spike on using Clojure to implement a React Native iOS/Android app (see my question in #react-native).

you should probably talk to @mfikes about this

gklijs14:03:14

I've been using it on and off in pet projects for 2,5 years. Not using it for work anytime soon.

Stefan14:03:40

Thanks, don’t know him/her.

Stefan14:03:56

Would you consider it suitable for work/production related purposes?

borkdude14:03:51

Mike Fikes uses it in production I think

borkdude14:03:32

This is his website about it: http://cljsrn.org/

Stefan14:03:05

Yes I have the starter running, happy with that 🙂

borkdude14:03:21

@stefan.van.den.oord the channel about it is #cljsrn according to the site

Stefan14:03:11

Ah you’re right, how could I have missed that? Thanks!
