yes, that's us, always practising our dunglish

vijaykiran08:12:08

I think this is more like clojure in NL geo area, rather than Clojure in NL linguistic community 🙂

Lennart Buit08:12:36

yeah I thought so

borkdude08:12:08

@lennart.buit I started this channel in Dutch but soon people started to talk English

Lennart Buit08:12:47

I think it is a very dutch thing to do tho, talking english as soon as there are possibly foreigners around

Lennart Buit08:12:04

It is very embedded in our culture, at least at higher education levels

gklijs10:12:09

Yes, we have some non-dutch people in the company who have a hard time learning dutch, cause we often go to English anyway.

neotyk10:12:27

ICT as an environment to learn Dutch is not working.

niels11:12:06

somebody write a dutch wrapper around core functions (defn eerste [col] (first col)) eerste, laatste, sommige? sleutelwoord

niels11:12:16

niels11:12:02

niels11:12:34

or actually, zero warnings since the names are different

thomas11:12:28

there is a Tamil version of Clojure

niels12:12:54

same repo has spanish too

thomas12:12:44

it makes the language more accessible for a very specific group of people, which is very nice and gives them opportunities they hadn't had before.
