🙂 I don’t have a strong opinion about it yet
the only thing that is actually planned for today is a call at 1230... right in my lunch break!
what’s a reasonable price to pay to have someone come in and drill holes and run Cat5 cables from our router on the ground floor up to a room on the 1st and a room on the 2nd? ziggo gets me 190mbit when using a cable, 80mbit via wifi when next to the router, and not even 1mbit up one flight 😞 the wifi sucks
i must say, prices here are schizo. something new in the shop costs 10-30x what something just as functional but second hand costs in a Kringloop!
‘new’ costs a lot
@robert-stuttaford yeah new costs a lot... i don't think it's actually that expensive to do that. you can post a job ("een klus") on a site like http://marktplaats.nl, and people can bid on it
alternatively, https://www.werkspot.nl/
@robert-stuttaford I think you can Ziggo people to come and help with the Wifi situation - I remember they provide that service
Also, Werkspot could be a good option (Disclosure: I work there 😛, not as hole-driller though )
thanks chaps!
