so how was the meetup yesterday?
yeah, I was impressed by both talks. I think I’ll use datahike: https://www.reddit.com/r/Clojure/comments/8r051c/datahike_a_lightweight_open_source_alternative/
yes, I'll have a look at that.... maybe it will help me understand more about datomic/datascript/etc
@joost-diepenmaat good news is that the meetup was professionally recorded and we'll put live the videos sometimes soon!
@thomas For learning datalog, I recommend this website: http://www.learndatalogtoday.org/
@thomas Also check out the day of datomic videos and exercises https://docs.datomic.com/on-prem/day-of-datomic.html
cool would love to see that @skuro!
@robert-stuttaford's going to be moving to the Netherlands soon and is keen to check out the Clojure meetup
welcome @robert-stuttaford
if you have any questions just ask. also (or maybe especially) if they are related to living in :flag-nl:
thanks for inviting me 🙂 i am super looking forward to hanging out with Clojurists in NL. i’ll be living in Apeldoorn to begin with, which means i’ll probably be driving in to a more populous area to meet folks 🙂
@robert-stuttaford Since Amsterdam Clojure meetup is now called The Dutch Clojure meetup, feel free to organize an event in Apeldoorn once you’re settled 😉
awesome news, @robert-stuttaford looking forward to nerding out with you in the future 😉
and yes, we should put Apeldoorn (or Gelderland for that matter) on the Dutch Clojure map
@thomas you should speak to @robert-stuttaford about Datomic, he has pretty deep knowledge of it and his company has been using it in production for at least 5 years (I think I worked at Cognician in like 2013?)
I also want to take a closer look at datahike, might help with integrating it with redis, since I used that before.
i wouldn’t call what you did around here work, @occamin -grin-
super happy to nerd out about
dunno if people have seen this before: https://github.com/denistakeda/re-posh
reactive pull and queries would be super nice for ui work, but when i looked at it, posh didn’t meet my standards
