Yesterday I told claude that I had included Clojure goes fast in my deps. It hooked it up, ran tests, looked at the output, decided what the problem was, suggested a fix for it. I said: yes go ahead and implement it. and 10 to 15 minutes later it had an improved version that runs twice as fast. 400k msg/sec instead of 200k msg/sec.
which lib from clojure goes fast?
dunno, I think the CPU?

I think so, let me check
gave it another go and now I can get around 450K msg/sec.
and I suspect there are some micro-optimisations left to do

I ran a test overnight (still running) and this is what it has processed so far: PUBLISH out 19,206,836,376.

yeah, I'm quite pleased with the result. turns out I had slightly different settings, but still very good results.
