Morning!! Heat has gotten to Norway too. Yet again, I fear neither our people or our houses are built to handle the heat 😅

it was at 28 in Dundee yesterday, which isn't too hot most places, but pretty uncomfortable here. Takes aaaaaages for the house to cool down
A little cooler over here but still hot. Today is cooler but I don’t believe the weather app at all.
the models seem to be underestimating the temps here. I'm not surprised tho, it is getting hotter than I'd expect it to

Yes, that's something very different; it's from the 90s, this is much younger, and it has Nightmares On Wax, which is nothing like Future Funk the genre 😄

My boy broke his arm... Just as the heat wave is about arriving... And of course he will have to have his arm in cast while we're away on holiday too... 🙄 I foresee many itches that cannot be scratched.
He took it surprisingly well, but I don't think he realises the implications yet 😕

At least he should heal fairly quickly at that age...
3 weeks. The cast is supposed to be taken off the day after we leave for Berlin. Maybe we can make some deal to take it off in the morning on the day we leave...

Dominant arm?
He's sort of ambidextrous, but mostly uses the other arm so I guess that's OK.
What happened to me was that I broke my other arm several summers in a row and stopped bothering to use it, so I’m less ambidextrous than I would have been if I hadn’t been doing some of the stupid stuff that ended me up with a cast. Could be good to keep an eye on it when he’s rid of the cast, if he continues to behave as if the arm can’t be used.

My kids and I picked up skateboarding, was thinking to myself: we're gonna lose some paint on this concrete 😅
