All magnolias are exploding in the neighbourhood

Stoner Rock / Metal?

Hm, a little fast for what I know as stoner stuff... But again, I think I might be confusing stoner and doom

Maybe you should try Jess And The Ancient Ones

Blending in some doom

Thank you, I'll try!

A quick wikipedia-read suggests that Holy Grove, whose self-titled album I've been fond of for many years, and Castle Rat, whom I've recently taken a liking to, are indeed both doom bands. Hm. "OK Doomer" ? 😄 Holy Grove - Holy Grove https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYc5m8aDg0k&list=PL0zfvxVZ-gSynvyMCRu60YSSfusXTVer5 Castle Rat - WIZARD https://youtu.be/iWKmiTwjjHA?si=V_Wzawb_zWWE3HLi

If you like doom try Candlemass (epicus doomicus metallicus is a bit in the nose but fun) and Cathedral - Forest of Equilibrium

There's a natural genere drift from doom to stoner where forms were copies but not substance

Thank you, putting them on the playlist 😄

Wish I could be there to watch you first impressions. Those albums are bangers

I'll add a few of my favorites in the genre: Messa, Green Lung, Yob

but obviously 😂

That's why I like the old bands before Stoner was a thing
