we have lots of newly fallen snow everywhere đ¨ď¸ I love it.

a foot is just more than 30cm and 16" is about 40cm.
Photos please!! We had 12" in 24 hours where I live. Just south of me had 16". Whatever those numbers are in cm these days.

Maybe it's the snow that @simongray and other Zealanders are experiencing that is somehow causing our internal network to be completely down. I'm told (via an old-fashioned phone call - I regret not having a twirly-wired phone attached to the wall for the occassion) that everyone's sitting around drinking coffee at the office.
I'm completely cut off from everything, so I might as well do the equivalent đ

It's actually a good opportunity to work on some particular code in complete radio silence and, therefore, flow-state tranquility. Even if I can't test it properly.

Today, I think I have no excuse for not going on a decent walk and getting some cloud-filtered sunlight in my eyes, and fresh air in my lungs.
I think I will go out too!
That was really good. No joke, I think it might have been weeks since I've been outside except to walk to the trash bin or the car.
I hope you take vitamin D supplements regularly then đ

My walk was less sunny, but pretty nice in any case. I also missed a zoom meeting that I hate attending anyway, so thank you for that! đ
