Good chilly morning
Currently learning the first three minutes of this Beethoven piece (my first Beethoven) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtbjERVZHWk
Wow! Nice!
Beautiful :)
Madainn mhath mo chairdean! ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ Itโs cold as the ninth circle of Hell (see Dantรฉโs Divine Comedy) here in Strathard, but boy is is beautiful! We havenโt had any of the snow plaguing / blessing the more southerly reaches of the British Isles, but we are with our countryfolk in temperature! How is Europe en masse getting on with the weather..?
defrosting in NL, but hell's freezing over later this weekend until Monday morning
Cold and sunny with a bit of clouds. Lovely weather IMO, you just need to wear warm clothes.
Cloudy and windy in Stuttgart, but all the snow thawed tonight. It is supposed to snow again in the evening.
Sounds as though we are cold! ๐ฅถ
18C today for us, but next week has some chilly days...
It is all wintry mix here. Rain, then slush, then snow, then it freezes, then it rains and some thaws, the rest gets thicker. All bumbling along between 2/-2C
Got a good amount of snow earlier in the week, over a few days. Now we're in the middle of a chilly spell, this morning was -10 C. Haven't experienced this much snow here in twenty years or so. It's long overdue, both kids and the land need it. Snowy winters used to be much more common when I was a child
We tried to take a train to Dรผsseldorf from Berlin today. It stopped an hour from Berlin for two hours, then they put the locomotive on the other side and dragged us home. Too much snow, apparently.
It was 10cm of snow, @simongray. How could anyone operate a railway under those conditions?
I'm not sure if the german railway is operated currently. ๐
they predicted a lot of snow and wind in Berlin but can't see much of it for now. guess it's different in Hamburg and the north-west
Thank you for traveling with Deutsche Bahn!
Failed again this morning, gave up
(Hotel fees are, of course, non-refundable ๐ )
omfg, that is actually shockingly bad.
