Morning Europe, winter has come to Norway! (though we'll probably loose what little snow we got before winter finally sets in.)
Morning. -4°C here in southern Germany, but no snow yet.
"Enjoying" 31°C here
Here at least the first christmas markets are opening now. That's compensation for the cold weather.
I'd rather cold over this heat. I can always wear more. There's a lower bound to how little it is socially acceptable or physically possible to wear
I don't need temperatures over 30°C either.
I also prefer cold over heat. Brain works in cold, not in heat

We're 0-7C today. Right now it's "6 feels like 9". Sunday (tomorrow) is showing -2 to 10. Next Friday is forecast to be -5 to -1 but at least it should be dry. They're forecasting a really snowy winter here this year.

The weather can be super variable here in N.E. Ohio. One day you have glorious sunshine and high 20s, next day you are literally freezing. Even in the summer, we had huge swings in temperatures over 48 hours. Takes some getting used to. But the forecast is super predictable, so you know well in advance that, say Mon/Tue/Wed will be lovely and Thu will be snowy and cold, because Ohio's pretty flat and there's nothing to stop a warm front or a cold front from slowly advancing over you.
Has anyone who attended Conj (in person or virtually) been inspired by the content there to start a new, fun project?
I guess @potetm was inspired to write Yet Another Component Library
I did write https://github.com/borkdude/parmezan after the conj but I don't think it was related to any content

Yeah! Lightweaver is the lib: https://github.com/potetm/lightweaver It didn’t come from content though. It was from a dinner convo with Jacob O’bryant.
At Conj, all conversations are "content" 🙂 That's why we go in-person!

I'm a "cat dad" 😻 Jay & I got together too late in life to have kids really. We were both nearly 40 and we wanted to (continue to) travel the world and enjoy life. And we both think this world is not a great place to raise kids these days.

Cool! Toronto is about a 4.5h drive from Ottawa.
