Morning.
Morning!
Endless CAPTCHA prompts?
Oh, those, aren’t they lovely! This time it was trying to convince the Norwegian site to show me my boarding card after check-in. Thinking that would be a pretty common use case, but seemingly not as common as finding my rental car, add reward number, or seeing an overload of detail of the parts of the trip that were yesterday. Ultimately I failed, but decided to try with downloading the iOS app. It was not super obvious there either, but after having tapped everywhere on the screen for a while it popped up! Had to repeat it for the second leg, Oslo -> Stockholm, and then I had learnt so new that that tiny spot looking like dirt was actually a smudged QR code which anyone that is not as stupid as I am probably would have tapped immediately. Still no clue how to do it via the site, since it isn’t that big red(!) button labeled Get Mobile Ticket. Nor do I know why the site on some places says that I am checked in, and on others that I am not. My stress levels!
Oh yeah, you don't need stuff like that while in transit 😞
I'm stressed enough as it is when walking the sunny path in the airport!
"I'm here, I'm at the gate, I've checked in, I've got my luggage, what's wrong, what's wrong, what's wrong, I'm not on the flight yet, what'll go wrong"
I’m exactly like that! And my stress causes me to make shit happen. At Gardemoen on the way home I managed to take the wrong turn (or take some turn I never saw) and accidentally exited out of the checked-in zone and had to do security check again. Almost missed my next plane because of it.
arggghhhhhh
nightmare fuel
(incredibly pedestrian nightmares, but still)
I think my girlfriend and I managed to get on an airport bus leading away from the airport once
while trying to get to the flight
Generally I think they manage the challenge very well, but they probably should do even more usability testing.
At Arlanda I was pleasantly surprised looking for the exit where I could take a taxi home. I met a sign saying “Looking for a taxi? Turn around.” I turned around and saw the sign I had missed. 😃
I would probably not survived the adrenaline chock had I found myself on that bus away from the airport!

"turn around" that's brilliant 😄
Morning
Good morning 🙂
